The biscuits and gravy was below average by my standards, the roast dinner special was much better. The Christmas sales were good. We got some good deals
This Cracker Barrel is definitely our go-to place for a hung-over breakfast. We never have to wait and no matter how annoying we are the waitresses are always nice and give us exactly what we want. We never ate anything other than breakfast though, so don't ask me about their dinner specials cuz I have no idea. I do know that no other place can cook eggs as perfectly to order and those biscuits bring me out of my hang over every time!!
Good food, old fashioned food like home. There aren't many restaurants in this immediate area that serve home made food like this. The restaurant is clean and the service is good. It's right next to a hotel and just off of I81. A worthwhile visit!
If you want good country cooking, this is the place to go. The food is always wonderful and the service is as well. The atmosphere is cozy in winter with a fire in the fireplace. Just walking in and that little hint of wood smoke makes you feel at home. You can't find this in other restaurants. Shopping? Oh yes. They have lovely things there. Something for everyone. After your meal, and shopping you can sit out on the porch in a rocking chair and relax or challenge your friend to a game of checkers. Always a wonderful time at Cracker Barrel...
We always have a great meal although we usually go for breakfast. This time we stopped in after doing some shopping and our waitress was grumpy and not attentive. Not at all what we are used to.
